An organisation registered under South African law that operates for public benefit and is restricted from distributing profits to its directors or member.
For Profit Company

A business entity that operates with the primary goal of generating revenue and profit for its owners or shareholders.
Social Enterprise
DESIGNERD (PTY) LTD + XEDRI NPC
A business model that combines profit-making with social impact, reinvesting earnings into community development, environmental sustainability, or social causes.
Public Benefit Organisation (PBO)
XEDRI NPC
A non-profit entity registered with SARS that conducts approved public benefit activities and may issue Section 18A tax certificates for qualifying donations.
Public Benefit Activity (PBA)
XEDRI NPC
Activities approved under the Income Tax Act for which tax-deductible donations can be received.
Agreement
Between DESIGNERD (PYT) LTD + XERI NPC and multiple companies, institutions, or individuals
The legally binding contract between XEDRI NPC, Designerd (Pty) Ltd, and its users, clients, or sponsors.

Any individual attending an event hosted or co-organised by XEDRI NPC or Designerd (Pty) Ltd.
Merchandise
DESIGNERD (PTY) LTD + XEDRI NPC
Branded products sold by XEDRI NPC or Designerd (Pty) Ltd to generate revenue.
Intellectual Property (IP)
DESIGNERD (PTY) LTD + XEDRI NPC
Any content, designs, branding, or materials created by or on behalf of Designerd (Pty) Ltd or XEDRI NPC.

1. Payment & Donation Processing

Contributions are used exclusively for public benefit activities as defined by Section 18A of the Income Tax Act (Act 58 of 1962).
2. Refunds & Cancellations

Donations are non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, it cannot be reversed.

Charity Merchandise: Refunds are only applicable for damaged or incorrect goods, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

3. Section 18A Tax Deductibility

Donations qualify for Section 18A tax-deductible certificates.

If you made a qualifying donation, please email proof of payment and your contact details to info@xedri.com and info@designerd.co.za to receive your Section 18A certificate.

Purchases of charity merchandise (e.g., T-shirts, artwork, event tickets) are NOT tax-deductible, as they involve an exchange of goods/services.

4. Use of Funds & Reporting

All donations are used for approved public benefit activities in line with SARS regulations.

Annual financial reports are available upon request for transparency.
5. Privacy & Data Protection

Donor information is confidential and will not be shared with third parties except where legally required.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and payment data.
6. Event Participation & Liability (if applicable)

If you are purchasing a ticket for a PBO fundraising event, participation is voluntary, and we are not liable for any injuries, lost items, or other damages occurring at the event.
